A Few of My Favorite Things

I've been so inspired by fashion and different styles lately maybe some sort of Summer fever? I have always had a passion for pop culture, but I have been growing increasingly interested in fashion and quality products over the years. Here's a few random things that I absolutely love and use almost daily:

  • Shoes
Starting with my red chucks. I am obsessed with them and wear them at least three times a week.

Next is my Doc Martens. This is my first pair and I just purchased them a couple months ago. I am so in love with them!

  • Hair
I put this on my damp hair every time I get out of the shower, even if I don't plan on immediately putting heat on my hair. It will protect it if I decide to straighten my hair the next day and it's also just really nutritious and keeps my hair very healthy. It's anti-frizz blow dry cream that protects hair from heat and frizz and any colors you may have added. I bought this product from my hair stylist so I'm not sure you would be able to find it in any drug or beauty store.

I wasn't really hot on these hair ties when they first came out. I thought they were just a trendy item that looked cute. Now I love mine because I feel like it does less damage to my hair than any other kind of tie! It holds my hair tight without ripping any pieces out or creating that huge dent when I take it out. I officially swear by these ties.
I picked mine up from my hair salon where they were selling them at the front desk, but I actually stumbled upon packages of them in all beautiful colors at Sephora!

  • Makeup
These are actually little eyeliner pens by Physicians Formula! They came as a set and I found them at Fred Meyer. I love them because I can be extremely lazy with my makeup on school days. I am also not a exactly a pro with liquid liner. These appear creamy/gel-like so it's almost like liquid liner! They're so much easier to use though. They are very easy to apply, the one downfall is that I find I have to reapply if I want to keep the liner dark. The black fades pretty quickly so I definitely don't use them for any cat-eye or winged-liner looks.

I try to switch it up and buy different mascaras every time I run out, but I keep coming back to one in particular and then pair it up with different ones that I think would compliment it. The purple tube called lashblast fusion is the one that I always buy. This time I decided to pair it up with another tube made by CoverGirl called clump crusher extensions. I have to say that this pairing has been amazing for me!

I am very picky about my eyebrows and what I put on them. I want something that will make them look as natural as possible, which is extremely difficult at times because they are basically non-existent by themselves. I have tried pencils and didn't have any luck with them. This is the one powder that has worked for me so far and it's by Jane Iredale.

  • Clothes
My go to item since last year has definitely been bralettes and bandeaus! I'm extremely obsessed with them and wear one pretty much every day. They are super cute with tank tops, but I also just wear them for their superior comfort. Most of mine are from Victoria's Secret, but I also have some from Kohls and Zumiez. These are just a couple of my favorite ones!

Probably my favorite and most worn shirt in my closet is from a brand called Jawbreaking. I am so inspired by the owner, founder, designer, HBIC of the brand so I love supporting her in any way I can! You can check out all of the brand at http://www.shopjawbreaking.com/

I used the image of the shirt from the website because I couldn't get a picture of my own shirt that did the design any justice. So, no I do not have a manly physique like the image above, it's just a unisex shirt ;)
  • Other Items
One of my most prized possessions is my Miley tote from her BANGERZ tour. I am a huge Miley fan so of course, this is life.

Last, but not least any and all books written by Sarah Dessen are my favorite. I love many other authors and books, but Sarah Dessen is the largest series that I have been dedicated to for many years. I know this isn't all of them, but I have actually read every book she has published. The Truth About Forever and This Lullaby are my two favorites <3

So there's a few items I swear by and highly recommend!
What are some items that you swear by? Have you used any of these items yourself?
Hope you enjoyed <3
