Over the first weekend of August I attended a country music festival at, in my opinion, the most beautiful venue in the world! Watershed Festival at The Gorge Amphitheater. It was my second year of going to Watershed and I think that I will probably go every year for the rest of my life. It's full of beautiful scenery, hot weather, and some of the funnest people you will ever cross paths with. Here's some pictures from my amazing weekend:
I had quite a large group of about 12 people on my campsite and we were able to fit our trailer plus four tents with lots of space for activities. While it was quite painful walking around the large campsites, it was a gorgeous sunset every night.
Did I not say this is the most beautiful venue in the world! It's called The Gorge Amphitheater in Eastern Washington
Watershed had record amounts of shedders attending this year. I heard it was somewhere between 25,000-30,000 country music lovers! YEEHAW
This
festival is always so fun because the venue allows re-entry to the
concerts since they last pretty much all day. Also, there are so many
fun things to do inside like ride the ferris wheel, go on the swings, or
go down the giant water slide! We had a lot of fun on the ferris wheel, as you can see
We got right up close and personal to the stage as we waited for more than an hour to see Chase Rice perform. Totally worth it :)
My boyfriend Chase Rice...no big deal ;)
My friends were so much fun to hang around with all day and night. We ran into so many old friends and met some awesome ones through out the weekend as well!
Needless to say, I needed a hot meal, long shower, and about 48 hours of sleep in my comfy bed by the time I got home. The 3 days of pure country music were complete bliss though and I can't wait until next year!
Here's some of the other artists that I got to enjoy:
Tim McGraw
Jake Owen
Lady Antebellum
Kip Moore
Justin Moore
Chase Rice
Cassadee Pope
The Swon Brothers
Joe Diffie
Lonestar
Eli Young Band
Billy Currington
Randy Houser
& so many more!!
Hope yall enjoyed this post and I hope I did Watershed and The Gorge justice on how amazing the entire experience truly is! There's so much more to the weekend that I didn't even talk about, but maybe next year I'll get a chance :)
